Dr. Jeff D. Dr. Jeff Brourman, DVM, MS, DACVS, is the owner and chief of staff for WestVet Animal Emergency and Specialty Center in Garden City Idaho and of WestVet Surgical Center of Chicago in Chicago Illinois. While in veterinary school, Dr. Brourman received the Ohio State University Excellence in Small Animal Surgery Award in 1997. After completing veterinary school, he pursued a small animal internship at Michigan State University where he earned the Intern of the Year Award in 1998. He then returned to Ohio State for an intensive three-year surgical residency where he earned the Ohio State University Hospital Service Award and the Graduate Resident Award for Excellence in Clinical Research. During his residency training, Dr. Brourman also earned a Master’s of Science degree.
