History Established in 2003 Our mission is to transform the lives of at-risk young adults by building self-sufficiency and independent living through comprehensive food service and life skills training, supporting placement in the food service industry and continuing education. We seek to foster a sense of belonging, enrichment and hope. To create a place where young adults, 16-20 years of age, will develop skills to enhance their self-worth and realize their full potential. While enrolled in our 16-week program, students from throughout the Treasure Valley receive comprehensive food service and life skills training, referrals to supporting agencies, education and job placement services, and access to the resources, tools and opportunities necessary to promote selfsufficiency and independent living .
